Model # LDS 2000/RV (Regulator
Valve Leak Detection System)
Designed to be installed into regulator pressure taps
(1/8" NPT), into a tank-pressure tap between the tank service valve and
the regulator, or downstream from the second-stage regulator (appliance valve
pressure tap or service-line shut-off valve pressure tap) for pressure
reading purposes without "breaking the system". Meets NFPA Publications 54 and 58 requirements regarding
"excess flow". Provides an
easy and quick method of attaching a water manometer or other testing device
to the regulator and at appliances to obtain low-pressure readings. NOTE: Will not
provide all the attributes of other Presto-Tap® LDS products,
including verification of liquid in the tank (confirmation of
"out-of-gas"), leak detection at the tank service valve, and leaks
downstream from the Presto-Tap® LDS unless such
tank-pressure tap locations are available between the tank service valve and
the first-stage regulator 10# location. |
